This invention relates to a connecting element between a support 3, a part of a motor vehicle body, and a panel element, specifically a door panelling. The connecting element has an upper part 1 attachable to the panel element via an attachment zone and an engagement zone 6 for a holding part 2 which is joinable with the support 3. The engagement zone 6 of the upper part 1 has two pockets 8 and 9 arranged one above the other and separated by a cross-web. The holding part 2 is equipped above the attachment zone 7 joinable with the support 3 with flanges 14 and 15. The flanges 14 and 15 are arranged with a distance from each other in the axial direction, and insertable into the pockets 8 and 9 in the direction crossing at right angles with the vertical direction. And the flanges 14 and 15 have different elasticities.
