To provide a connecting implement which enables the rigidity of a joint to be secured by absorbing the dimension error of a branch member when the branch member such as an H-shaped cross-section glued laminated wood and a common joist is joined to a trunk member.
This connecting implement comprises: a metallic material 11 which has a front plate 12, two horizontal plates 13 and a lower plate 14; a band plate 21 which is brought into contact with an outer surface of the horizontal plate 13 of the metallic material 11, and a side surface of the branch member B; a fixing bolt 31 and a fixing nut 32, which integrate the metallic material 11 and the trunk member M together; a connecting bolt 34 which passes through the horizontal plate 13, the band plate 21 and the branch member B; a connecting nut 35 which is screwed into the connecting bolt 34; and a nail 36 and the like, which integrate the band plate 21 and the branch member B together. The connecting implement makes the band plate 21 bound by means of the connecting bolt 34, the connecting nut 35, and the nail 36 and the like. Thus, a load acting on the branch member B can be borne by a wide range of the metallic material 11 and the band plate 21, and the dimension error of the width of the branch member B can be absorbed by bending the band plate 21.
