Title:
CONNECTING LINK TYPE RUBBER CRAWLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3333979
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the extent of service life in a rubber crawler by forming a rubber crawler bodylying between two buried core bars into being bellowslike, in a device buried with a core bar, consisting of both symmetrical blade parts and the central part, at almost constant spacing so as to make the longitudinal direction become at a right angle to the rubber crawler body in the circumferential direction.
CONSTITUTION: This connecting link tape rubber crawler is made up of burying two blade parts 2a and 2a extending in both directions, a cavitied central part 2b and a core bar 2 formed with a bolt hole 2p to mount a track link with bolt-nut in a rubber crawler body 1 at constant spacing. In this constitution, it is formed into a bellows part 4 wavily formed with the body 1 lying between two core bars buried. This bellows part 4 has such length as being able to be situated at almost the same height with a link pin to pivot an adjacent track link. With this constitution, at the time of wrapping over a driving wheel and an idler wheel sufficient elongation is possible, whereby any accumulation of rubber fatigue due to repeated expansions is made so as to be preventable in terms of design.
