To provide a connecting member and a connecting method used for lightweight banking construction method in which a bent head part can easily be embedded in a surface of a foamed resin block in a short period of time and also work efficiency for connecting the foaming resin blocks to each other can be improved.
For connecting the laminated foamed resin blocks 4 to each other, a connecting member 1 is made to pierce the upper layer of the foamed resin block 4 and inserted into the lower layer of the foamed resin block 4. The connecting member 1 is formed of an almost L-shape, composed of a body part 2 to be inserted into the foamed resin block 4 and a bent head part 3 which is bent with respect to the body part 2. The bent head part 3 forms an angle θ of less than 90° with the body part 2 so that the bent head part 3 can be easily embedded in the surface 41 of the foamed resin block 4 in a short period of time.
