To provide a connecting member in which the part items management is simple, a worker never mistakes the order to install parts, and a plastic pipe hardly rotates together, when the outer peripheral surface at the end of the plastic pipe is fastened by a nut through a presser ring.
This connecting member of plastic pipe consists of a coupling main body 1 made by forming a female screw engraving part 23 and an inner core 4 in order, on one side of a collar 2; a split ring 10 to cover a plastic pipe which is installed on the outer peripheral surface of the inner core 4 from the outer side; and a box nut inserting the split ring 10 to its inner side. In this case, the split ring 10 presents a cylindrical form shorter than the depth of the box part of the box nut 20, its one side end is made thinner as going to the front end, while an end part projection ring projecting to the outer side is provided to the other side end side. Furthermore, the box nut 20 furnishes a clearance which is made to insert the end part projection ring of the split ring 10 loosely, at the bottom side.
