To smoothly connect composite sheets, to eliminate the entangling of the yarn and to obviate the cut of the yarn or skip stitch even when a connecting part is temporarily stopped by a double-sided adhesive tape or a double chain stick of vigorous movement of a sewing yarn is employed in the case of connecting two composite sheets by sewing with a sewing machine.
Two composite sheets obtained by laminating or impregnating water barrier material made of viscoelastic material such as rubber, synthetic resin, or asphalt on or into a reinforcing layer made of fiber sheet such as woven fabric, knitted fabric or nonwoven fabric are connected by sewing with a sewing machine. In this case, as the sewing yarn, the yarn made of multifilament yarn of synthetic fiber, bundled by 2,000 to 6,000 of twisting coefficient and covered on the surface with resin is used.
