In the connecting method of the reinforcing material, an end of the reinforcing material 1 to be connected is adjusted and its adjusted end of the reinforcing material 1 is inserted into a cylindrical connecting part 3, and a static crushing material 4 containing an expandable material composed mainly of cement is filled into the cylindrical connecting part 3 into which the reinforcing material 1 is inserted, and the static crushing material 4 is sealed in the cylindrical connecting part 3, and the static crushing material 4 expands in the sealed cylindrical connecting part 3 after a predetermined time and the reinforcing material 1 is tightly and strongly connected with the cylindrical connecting part 3 through the expanded static crushing material 4'.
