To provide a connecting part that is electrically stable and has excellent mechanical characteristics by placing a split band conductor and an insulating film in a slot with one surface side held down by a press-in terminal.

On one face of a flat cable 10 containing a band conductor 11, a connecting terminal 20 in which a slot 27 having a width smaller than that of the band conductor 11 is longitudinally formed is placed, and on the other face, a press-in terminal 40 to be engaged with the slot 27 is placed; by pressing the press-in terminal 40 into the slot 27, the band conductor 11 and an insulating film 12 are longitudinally split and positioned in the slot 27; the band conductor 11 and the connecting terminal 20 are thereby connected electrically.
