Abstract:

To solve the problem wherein a stainless steel of JIS standard article used for a connecting pin of a guide vane driving mechanism has a wide component range and unevenness of shearing strength characteristic of a material of the connecting pin is large and a risk that a guide vane, a guide vane link or a guide vane arm is damaged when the connecting pin is not broken in the case wherein strong force exceeding a set value is applied between the guide vane link and the guide vane arm.

In the connecting pin to be used for a connection part of a several members and provided with a weak point part by reducing cross sectional area in one part thereof, as a raw material, a stainless steel composed of Cr of 11.5-13.0 wt.%, Si of 0.5 wt.% or less, Mn of 1.00 wt.% or less, P of 0.040 wt.% or less, S of 0.30 wt.% or less, C of 0.10-0.13 wt.%, and Fe and inevitable impurity of residual part is used. Heating is performed to the stainless steel to stabilize material strength.
