Abstract:
To provide a connecting rod large end part lubrication structure of an internal combustion engine including a side plate capable of reducing assembly man-hour because of easiness of assembly, improving assemblability, reducing its weight, reducing costs, improving sealability, and improving oil storage property.SOLUTION: A connecting rod large end part lubrication structure of an internal combustion engine 4 is configured such that on a web outside surface 78 of a crank web 73R, an annular side plate 100 inserting a crank journal part 77R is provided to define a lubrication oil chamber 110, wherein the side plate has a stationary part 101 with an O-shaped cross section provided on a cross section of an outer peripheral edge along a crank shaft core C, and a tabular oil storage part 105 extending from the stationary part toward the crank shaft core, and is integrally molded with a synthetic resin material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
