Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly elongate a service life of a connecting rod.SOLUTION: A split type connecting rod 1 having a connecting rod large end portion 3 capable of being rotatably connected to a crank shaft, has a connecting rod bearing cover 6 of the connecting rod large end portion 3, a through hole is provided on the connecting rod bearing cover 6 at both sides of the connecting rod large end portion 3, a screw hole coaxial with the through hole and penetrating through a large end portion 5 is provided on the large end portion, a screw is penetrated through the through hole, the large end portion 5 of the connecting rod 1 screw in the screw hole has recessed portions 10 on a region of each screw hole at a side opposite to the connecting rod bearing cover 6, and the recessed portions 10 are extending in a direction of the connecting rod large end portion, and eccentric to a screw shaft, so that component load in a region of the final thread ridge turn of each screw hole can be minimized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
