Abstract:
To provide a connecting rod which can suppress the shortage of oil lubricating in a pin hole into which a piston pin is inserted during a stop of an oil jet.SOLUTION: In a connecting rod 10, an oil feed hole 30 is formed at a small end part 13. The oil feed hole 30 comprises: an oil storage groove 34 recessed toward an internal peripheral face 15 of the small end part 13 from an external peripheral face 16 of the small end part 13, and extending to a peripheral direction of the small end part 13; and a communication hole 31 penetrating a bottom face 37 of the oils storage groove 34, and making the external peripheral face 16 of the small end part 13 and the internal peripheral face 15 of the small end part 13 communicate with each other. Then, a first end edge 35 and a second end edge 36 of the oil storage groove 34 contacting with the external peripheral face 16 of the small end part 13 in an extension direction of the oil storage groove 34 are located at an apex 18 side rather than an opening part 38 contacting with a hole inner face 33 of the communication hole 31 out of the bottom face 37 of the oil storage groove 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
