Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve reliability and durability by suppressing remarkable reduction of fatigue strength of a pressing bolt without increasing weight and manufacturing cost.
CONSTITUTION: In a connecting rod, a large end cap 4 is pressed against a large end 3 provided on one end of a connecting rod 1, and fixed thereto by means of a pressing bolt 5. A fixing bolt in which the pressing bolt 5 is inserted is formed obliquely in respect to a center line O-O of the connecting rod 1 so as to bend the pressing bolt inward at the time of installation.
