Title:
CONNECTING STRUCTURE BETWEEN ALUMINUM CABLE AND COPPER TERMINAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005108608
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a connecting structure capable of preventing contact corrosion of an aluminum conductor and a copper terminal exposed from a cable terminal part of an aluminum cable without adapting a waterproof structure.

The surface except a connecting surface 3a of the copper terminal 1 having the connecting surface 3a for connecting a terminal part of the aluminum conductor 4a of the aluminum cable 4 by welding is plated with tin, and the area of a copper exposed surface 3d to the area of a aluminum exposed surface 4b in a joint exposed surface 6 formed by the welding connection of the aluminum conductor 4a is minimized. According to this, even if an electrolytic aqueous solution such as rainwater is stayed, the corrosion of the aluminum conductor 4a by connection with a dissimilar metal can be suppressed within a practical range considering connection reliability or the like.
