Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fuel leakage in the connecting part of a high pressure fuel pipe by increasing strength of a fuel pipe itself without increasing thickness of the pipe.
SOLUTION: In this connecting structure, a high pressure fuel pipe is connected by performing a surface contact with the tip part of a pipe 12 taperingly formed at a sectorial recessed part 22 formed at the mouth edge of a fuel entrance 21 of a high pressure fuel equipment with high pressure. The fuel pipe 12 is a composite steel pipe that an internal pipe 12a made of stainless steel and an external pipe 12b made of a softer steel material than stainless steel are integrated and is constituted so that the tip part of the internal pipe 12 may be taperingly formed and only the external pipe 12b may perform the surface contact with the recessed part 22. It is preferable that a shoulder part 24 having a spreading angle which is remarkably inclined than the spreading inclined angle of the recessed part 22 at the peripheral edge of the recessed part 22 is formed.
