Abstract:
To provide a connecting structure of an in-wheel motor unit and a strut-type suspension device for obtaining an electric vehicle which is high in practicality.SOLUTION: In a connecting structure having: (A) an in-wheel motor unit 12 including a wheel holding part 20 for holding a wheel 10, a motor part 22 for driving the wheel 10, and a deceleration mechanism part 24 for decelerating a rotation output of the motor part 22 and transmitting it to the wheel 10, and accommodated in a wheel 16 of the wheel 10; and (B) a shock absorber 40 connected to a vehicle body at an upper end, and connected to the in-wheel motor unit 12 at a lower end, and connecting the vehicle 10 and a strut-type suspension device 18 for suspending the in-wheel motor unit 12, the shock absorber 40 is arranged so as to intersect with a rotation axial line Lof the wheel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
