To provide a connecting structure of a ribbon body by which a carriage can be moved in an intended direction, and the carriage with assembly can be easily connected and disconnected in a front-to-rear direction of conveyance with a simple structure.

The connecting structure includes: a stopper pin 11 vertically movably fitted to a front end in the conveying direction X of the ribbon body 4 which is guided by a slit 2 formed in a stand 3 and is housed in the stand 3; and an arm 12. The arm 12 includes a roller follower 13 arranged at an upper end thereof, and a stopper rod 14 arranged at the lower end and engaged with the stopper pin 11. The lower end of the stopper pin 11 has an inclined surface 11a extending upward to the front side in the conveying direction. The arm 12 is inclined so that an angle of inclination with respect to a horizontal direction may be reduced by the roller follower 13 coming into contact with a lower surface of a connection retaining cam 21 formed along the slit, and is fixed at the height that the stopper rod 14 comes into contact with a surface of the rear side in the conveyance direction X of the stopper pin 11.
