Title:
CONNECTION ALIGNMENT ALARM SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3470947
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily connect a pulling body to a body to be pulled under a condition of zero or low visibility by installing a connection alignment alarm system to notify a driver whether the pulling body is aligned sufficiently for enabling the sure connection to a trailer.
SOLUTION: This connection alignment system 10 to align a pulling body and a body to be pulled, is installed in a housing 64 of the pulling body. A target sensor is arranged in the vicinity of the axis of the parallel beam 15 from a laser beam source on the body to be pulled. Whether or not a target is captured is judged by detecting the laser beam reflected to the target sensor. When the target is captured, the continuous feedback to instruct the appropriate connection is sent to a user. If the arrangement in line is not maintained, the system can not detect the reflected laser beam, and the feedback to indicate the continuous and appropriate connection is prevented from being sent to the user.
