Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform the optional control of a machine containing plural numerical controllers having multi-spindles with a single programmable logic controller PLC, by enabling a single PLC to control optionally >=2 numerical controllers, axis parts to be controlled and spindle control parts. CONSTITUTION:A PLC 5 is connected to numerical controllers 1a-1n corresponding to machines 8a-8n corresponding to these controllers 1a-1n. The PLC 5 contains a function to recognize individually the controllers 1a-1n and a function to select and control spindle control parts 12a-12n connected to the PLC 5 for cutting, drilling and other processes. While the CPU 3 of controllers 1a-1n have functions to control the axis parts 7a-7i to be controlled and connected via servo controllers 4a-4i in an optional combination.
