To provide a personal adornment such as a bracelet or necklace with female and male connection members to be attached to either end of the bracelet or necklace, wherein connection members are securely connected and the bracelet or necklace itself is prevented from being lost without easy disconnection of the connection members in the intensive movement of a wrist or the neck of a user.

The male connection member of an adornment body constituting the annular bracelet or earring is composed of a spring member with the distal end whose cross section is acute V-shaped, and a locking member, running on the female connection member side, whose one end is pivotally attached to one side of the spring member rotatably and whose other end has a hook part. The male member side of the female member is open, and the female member is composed of a rectangular parallelepiped mantle member into which the distal end of the spring member can be inserted from the opened part and a projection part to which the hook part of the locking member disposed in the locking member of the male connection member can be hooked when the male and female connection members are connected with each other. The adornment body also has a strap-like object whose one end is fixed to the spring member and whose other end is fixed inside the opened part of the mantle member.
