Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection device for a water meter capable of maintaining a length (span) of an installation place of the water meter to be installed on the ground in a specific length and easily reinstalling the water meter without causing any shift of piping when the water meter is reinstalled.
SOLUTION: The connection device consists of a connection pipe 4 and a pair of connecting sections 1a and 1b, and the connecting sections 1a and 1b comprise coupling sections 5a and 5b and connecting bodies 6a and 6b. When the old water meter installed on the ground is replaced with a new one, it is easily reinstalled without causing any slippage of the piping. The connecting pipe 4 can be used as a supporting base metal when it is attached and fixed to a structure such as other piping or the like in a pipe shaft or a pipe space.
