PURPOSE: To achieve the electrical connection among the electronic parts and the electronic devices which have different terminal arrangements by a method wherein plural first terminals are arranged on a substrate and plural second terminals are arranged on this substrate with a different arrangement from the first terminals and then the first terminals and the second terminals are connected electrically.

CONSTITUTION: A connection device 1 is set on a socket 8 of a writing device 3 by inserting outer leads 12 into insertion holes 9. At this time, the mark 13 of a DIP11 of the connection device 1 corresponds to the mark 10 of the socket 8. The LCC-type EPROM2 intended to be programmed is fitted in a space 15 of a socket part 14 of the connection device 1 set on the writing device 3. At this time, the mark 7 of the package 4 of the LCC-type EPROM2 corresponds to the mark 17 of the socket part 14 of the connection device 1. Consequently, the leads 5 formed on side planes of the package 4 of the LCC-type EPROM2 respectively correspond to and contact with the terminals 16 formed on an inner circumferential surface of the socket part 14 of the connection device 1 and these are connected electrically.
