Abstract:
A pipe union fixture holds one pipe end against a receiving end as these enter or leave especially an item of laboratory equipment such as a reactor vessel. The fixture (1) comprises a two-part clamp with upper and lower two semicircular cuffs (9a, 9b) which rotate on a pivot and close around a main pipe (2'). The two halves are held together by bolts (6) with springs between the upper and lower halves of the cuffs.
