PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide connection equipment for connecting buildings together, which prevents spread of a fire breaking out in one of the buildings.SOLUTION: Connection equipment 200 for connecting openings of two buildings together includes a roof member 101 for connecting the buildings together in such a manner that a section between the buildings is bridged, and detection means 102 that is provided in the building to detect a fire breaking out in the building. The roof member 101 comprises a movable roof part 111 that operates to disconnect the buildings from each other in synchronization with fire detection by the detection means 102.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
