Abstract:
PURPOSE: To diagnose failure of many kinds of vehicles by a single failure diagnostic device.
CONSTITUTION: The terminals of a failure diagnostic device 16 and the terminals of a controller 14, which outputs different control signals depending on the kind of vehicles in response to the terminals, are connected by harness lead wires 20. And a signal conversion circuit, which converts the output signals of the controller 14 into a signal mode fitting the failure diagnostic device 16, is provided in the middle of the harness lead wires.
