To provide a connection interface of an optional device for an automobile allowing installation of the optional device without introducing errors in a computer mounted on the automobile, and enabling ON/OFF switching of the optional device by remote control of a genuine wireless key.
The connection interface is adapted for connecting the optional device to the automobile including a receiver 51 for receiving a signal from the genuine wireless key, an electric actuator for opening/closing a door lock, a notifying means for giving a notice as to opening/closing of the door lock, and a control device for interlocking the electric actuator and the notifying means based on reception by the receiver 51, and is provided with a connection port for performing electric connection of the optional device, a first port for being electrically connected to first current-carrying wiring to which at least the notifying means is connected, and a control unit for performing switching between a conducting state and a nonconducting state of the connection port based on input into the first port.
