A connection jig 1 is used for connecting a pile 3 to a pile driver A which drives a pile 3 into a soil cement column 2 in subsoil while rotating the pile 3. On the outer peripheral surface of a body 20 of the connection jig 1, blades 21 are provided which can advance into the soil cement column 2 while rotating and can hold the subsoil including the soil cement of the soil cement column 2 above the advancing position. At the time of construction of the composite pile, the connection jig 1 and the pile 3 are lowered while being rotated by a pile driver A, the pile 3 is driven into the soil cement column, and then the pile 3 and the connection jig 1 are separated from each other and the connection jig 1 is pulled up by the pile driver A. Thereby, the subsoil including the soil cement held by the blades 21 is taken out to the ground surface, and the soil cement column 2 having less extra fill and unevenness can be formed.
