Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a connection method of an electrode for electrolytic protection of the steel members in concrete capable of easily, surely and firmly installing the electrode without requiring a boring operation in the bottom of an electrode housing groove.
CONSTITUTION: The electrode 3 is inserted into an electrode fixture 4 which consists of an elastic insulator having the outside shape larger than the width of the electrode housing groove 2 formed on a concrete surface 1 and is provided with a through-hole (electrode insertion hole) or notch (groove) for insertion of the electrode and the electrode fixture 4 is compressed and pushed into the groove 4, to realize the firm extending and fixing.
