PURPOSE: To simplify a piping work and shorten the period by bending each of both end parts of a fireproof damper and a duct in an L shape for forming a flange parts continuously in the circumferential direction, and bending each flange part further rearwards for forming horizontal parts continuously in the circumferential direction.
CONSTITUTION: A fireproof damper 20 and duct 21 are formed in a hollow prism shape, each of both ends being bent in an L shape to form a flange part 23 continuously in the circumferential direction, the circumferential edge of each flange part 23 being bent rearwards further to form a horizontal part continuously in the circumferential direction. Between the four corners of the flange 23, bolt holes 26 bored in the direction of the thickness of a plate are arranged at an equal distance. The flange parts 23 at the ends of the damper 20 and the duct 21 are mated through a rubber packing member therebetween, and then bolts 29 are inserted in the bolt holes 26, 26 to connect the flange parts 23 to each other. The four side of the flange part 23 in the vertical and lateral directions are respectively engaged with a clamp 28 to fix the flanges 23.
