Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress breaking of a wire when connecting a compression sleeve and the wire.SOLUTION: In a connection method of a compression sleeve for integrally connecting a compression sleeve and a wire by compressing the outer periphery of the compression sleeve toward the wire, while housing the wire in the hollow section of the compression sleeve constituted as a tubular metal member, the compression sleeve is deformed plastically so that the compression ratio, defined by (S+A-C)/(S+A)×100 (%), has a predetermined value in a range of 4%-9%, where A [cm] is the area of the cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the wire, S [cm] is the area of the cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the compression sleeve before compression, and C [cm] is the area of the cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the compression sleeve after compression.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
