Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent gangboards from intruding into vehicle rooms and causing a secondary disaster to passengers at the time of vehicle collision.
CONSTITUTION: One gangboard 26 is provided at one vehicle 20, and the other gangboard 27 is provided at the other vehicle or a release side metal frame 24. The other gangboard 27 is divided in a connection passage direction, and is made up of a base slab 28A and an extension slab 28B. An engagement member 39 is provided at the extension slab 28B. A push member 56 is provided at one side gangboard 26. in a case in which a space between vehicles is abnormally contracted, the push member 56 pushes the engagement member 39, and the extension slab 28A is moved pushingly in the base slab 28 direction.
