Abstract:
PURPOSE: To compromise power consumption with control search by providing an synchronous mechanism which responds to a control signal and ascertains whether it is connectable or not and a timing mechanism which responds to a wait period and generates a control signal. CONSTITUTION: A synchronous mechanism is controlled by a timing mechanism that uses a control circuit 4. During an initial period, the timing mechanism controls the synchronous mechanism with one control signal. If synchronization is not acquired after the initial period, the timing mechanism stops the control over the synchronous mechanism during a 1st wait period. And it starts a 2nd wait period, newly generates a control signal and performs periodical control over the synchronous mechanism. It makes the wait terminal long to make the interval of a starting period of the synchronous mechanism wide. As a result, although energy consumption is reduced, the synchronization of a terminal is delayed. Here, the timing mechanism is provided with a means that decides a wait period in accordance with a capacity indicator. This makes it possible to compromise between the reduction of power consumption and terminal use.
