Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel aluminum wire connection structure which can be simply structured and easily manufactured and is capable of surely securing stability in connection of aluminum wires and a strength of a splice part, and an appropriate manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: In a cap terminal 20, an opening of one end portion 24 is crushed in a flat shape and sealed in an axis perpendicular direction and, on the other hand, an opening 28 of another end portion 26 is opened. A core wire 30 of an aluminum wire 10 is inserted from a side of the opening 28 of the other end portion 26 of the cap terminal 20 to the one end portion 24, and the cap terminal 20 is crimped to the aluminum wire 10 in the state where the side of the one end portion 24 is compressed in the axis perpendicular direction with higher compressibility than that at the side of the other end portion 26. Therefore, a high compression part 34 is provided where the core wire 30 of the aluminum wire 10 is mutually crimped with a high crimping force at the side of the one end portion 24, and a low compression part 36 is provided where the aluminum wires 10 are mutually crimped with a lower crimping force than that of the high compression part 34 at the side of the other end portion 26.
