Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure between a crank shaft and a connecting rod which enables reduction of friction resistance occurring between a side surface part of the connecting rod and a side surface part of the crank shaft.SOLUTION: A connecting rod 20 is rotatably connected to crank arms 12, 13 of a crank shaft 10 of an internal combustion engine through a crank pin 14. A solid lubricant 25 is provided between a side surface part 12a of the crank arm 12, on which the crank pin 14 is provided, and a side surface part 20a of the connecting rod 20 which faces the side surface part 12a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
