To achieve sure fixation in a connection structure between a wooden top plate and a plastic lower structure and to provide a connection structure capable of being freely connected and disconnected.
There is provided the connection structure between a top plate 4 and a lower structure 2 in which a top plate 4 is arranged above a lower structure 2, a projection 21 is formed at the upper end of the lower structure 2 and a depression 40 is formed on the under surface of the top plate 2 and the top plate 4 and the lower structure 2 are connected with each other by coupling the projection 21 and the depression 40, wherein an engagement pawl 32 is formed in the projection 21, a metallic engagement member 7 to be engaged with the engagement pawl 32 to connect the top plate 4 and the lower structure 2 is fixed to the top plate 4, the metallic engagement member 7 is configured so as not to be elastically deformed by abutting the depression 40, and the area of the projection 21 in which the engagement pawl 32 is formed is configured so as to be capable of being elastically deformed to enable the engagement pawl 32 to be disengaged from the engagement member 7.
