PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure of a filter cloth lower end in a filter press where a filter cloth can be held in a tension state on the front and rear filtration surfaces of a filter plate by binding the right and left of the filter cloth lower end using a cylindrical body having a length shorter and easier to use than ever before and a drain port by which a filtrate does not accumulate in filter cloth lower end center at a filter cloth lower end side is disposed.SOLUTION: A connection structure of a filter cloth lower end comprises: protrusion edges 14 sewn by folding right and left portions except the prescribed length portion of the center of both filter cloth lower edges disposed below a filter plate bottom edge 1a; and a pair of right and left cylindrical bodies 16 drilled in the whole area in the longitudinal direction of the side wall of one slit 17 at the same length as the respective right and left protrusion edges in a filter cloth covering the front and rear surfaces of a filter plate 1. The right and left portions of the filter cloth lower end are bound so as to have a drain port at the center of the filter cloth lower end by holding the respective right and left protrusion edges 14 slid and inserted into the respective cylindrical bodies 16 from the one opening 16a in an anti-coming-off manner through the slit within the cylindrical body 16.
