Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a filter cloth in a tensed state on the front and rear filtration surfaces of a filter plate by easily performing covered binding of the lower ends of the filter cloth without using a filter cloth tensioning rod.SOLUTION: A connection structure of the filter cloth lower ends in a filter press includes projecting edges 14 provided at the respective filter cloth lower ends arranged below a filter plate lower end 1a in the filter cloth 2 for covering the front and rear surfaces of the filter plate 1, and a cylinder body 16 with a slit 17 cut over the whole longitudinal region of a sidewall. Each projecting edge 14 is held in a slip-off stop state into the cylinder body 16 through the slit 17 to perform covered binding of the filter cloth lower ends.
