Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved connection structure for connecting an in-wheel motor drive device to a suspension device.SOLUTION: A connection structure has an in-wheel motor drive device (10), a carrier (18) provided on the in-wheel motor drive device, a suspension device (70), and a ball joint (60) for connecting the carrier to the suspension device in a direction free state. The ball joint comprises a ball stud (61) which has a ball part (61b) formed on one end, and a stud part (61s) formed on the other end, and a socket (62) for storing the ball part slidably. The socket is provided on the carrier, the stud part is coupled to the suspension device, and in view from an axial line (O) of a wheel hub bearing part, a connection part of the stud part and the suspension device is arranged on a far side relative to the socket.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
