Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure and a connection method of a cable outer and a terminal member, and a control cable, in which the cable outer does not include a rigid body portion, and which can properly connect the cable outer and the terminal member while suppressing influence on an inner diameter of the cable outer even when an outer layer of the cable outer and the terminal member are made of different resins.SOLUTION: In a connection structure of a cable outer and a terminal member, a terminal 12A of the cable outer 12 in which at least an outer layer is made of a resin, is inserted to an inner side of the terminal member 16 cylindrically formed with a resin different from that of the outer layer. A projecting portion 34 biting the outer layer of the terminal 12A is formed on an inner peripheral portion of the terminal member 16. The projecting portion 34 is formed by applying caulking to a softened region in a state that the terminal member 16 and the outer layer of the terminal 12A are at least partially softened by heat.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
