To secure water-proofing property in an electric connection portion between a flat electric cable and a circuit board by simple connection structure, and to enhance mechanical reliability and electric reliability for connection between the flat electric cable and the circuit board.
In this connection structure for the flat cable, a fixing member 7 arranged with one exposed end part 33a of an electric cable connecting terminal 33 led out of the circuit board 3 is attached to a casing 5 (51, 53), a retreated portion (for example, a resin coat 9b of the flat electric cable 9) retracted from the electric connection portion connected with the electric cable connecting terminal 33 in the flat electric wire 9 is fixed to the fixing member 7, under the condition where an electric cable conductor 9a exposed in one end side of the electric cable 9 is electrically connected to the one end part 33a of the electric cable connecting terminal 33, and the exposed electric cable conductor 9a in one end side of electric cable 9 and the one end part 33a of the electric cable connecting terminal 33 arranged exposedly in the fixing member 7 are sealed with a sealing resin 11.
