PURPOSE: To prevent a spoke from being pivotally returned and loosened after assembling a wheel by interposing a friction reducing member between the outer surface of a nipple inserted in a spoke hole and a rim constituting wall in a connection structure of the rim and spoke.

CONSTITUTION: A washer 4 is interposed between a spoke hole 11 provided in a well part 13 of a rim 1 and a nipple 2. The lower end of the nipple 2 threadingly engages a male screw part 32 at the tip of the spoke 3. A fastening tool engages and fastens a tool hook 25 formed into the square column form at the lower part of the nipple 2. Then, while the spoke 3 is torsioned in the fastening direction in the fastening, the rim 1 and nipple 2 slip on each other and pivotally return to the position prior to the fastening by the washer 4 functioning as a friction reducing member when the fastening tool is removed to release the fastening force. Thus, the spoke 3 has the structure in which the torsional stress hardly remains.
