To provide a steel pipe pile joint having a high shearing strength, simple in structure and excellent in connection working efficiency, and capable of preventing water from being polluted.
A steel pipe pile 3 is installed at a bottom 5. Therefore, the lower portion (a bottom lower part 9) of the steel pipe pile 3 is buried in the bottom 5. For aggregate 25 to be easily moved in a joint 13, the movement route of the aggregate 25 must be sufficiently large relative to the size of the aggregate 25. If the movement route is small relative to the size of the aggregate 25, the route is closed by the aggregate 25, and the charge of concrete 23 is obstructed. If the gap between the front end of the arm part 19a of an L-member 15a and the outer surface of the base 17b of an L-member 15b is larger than the size of the aggregate 25, the aggregate 25 (the concrete 23) flows to the outside through the gap. If the size of the aggregate 25 is larger than the gap, the gap is clogged with the aggregate 25. Consequently, the gap is closed by the aggregate 25, and the outflow of the concrete 23 is suppressed.
