Abstract:
To provide a lens hood and a connection structure between the lens hood and a lens barrel which can eliminate rotation backlash without troublesome adjustment work.SOLUTION: In a connection structure of attachably/detachably connecting between a lens hood and a lens barrel, in which the lens hood has a hood side connection structure formed on an image formation side end portion and the lens barrel has a lens side connection structure formed on a subject side end portion, the lens barrel includes flanges 42a and 42b extending in a peripheral direction on the outer surface the lens hood includes first and second groove portions 34a and 34b formed on the inner surface of the lens hood and extending in the peripheral direction which can store the flanges 42a and 42b and a lock piece 10 and a hood lock button 6 for restricting both ends of the flanges 42a and 42b in the peripheral direction respectively. The lock piece 10 biases the flange 42a in the peripheral direction toward the hood lock button 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
