Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a structure which allows for easy and reliable connection of multiple communication cables with a board.SOLUTION: A connection structure of communication cable where multiple communication cables 2, including center conductors 3a, 3b, an insulator 4 and an external conductor 5, are soldered to a common board 100 has a connection member 30 covered on the end 10 of the multiple communication cables 2. The connection member 30 includes a ceiling board 31 covering the end 10 of each communication cable 2, a pair of sidewall plates 32, 33, multiple bulkhead plates 34 located between the pair of sidewall plates 32, 33, and interposed between the ends 10 of adjoining communication cables 2, and multiple openings 35 provided in the ceiling board 31. The external conductor 5, exposed at the end 10 of each communication cable 2, is joined to a metal layer formed on the board 100, by a solder 40 flowed between the connection member 30 and the board 100 from the opening 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
