Abstract:
To provide a connection structure for a top plate and a leg of which the configuration is simplified, and which can be manufactured easily and at low cost and is capable of strongly connecting the top plate and the leg.SOLUTION: A tubular lower frame is attached to a bottom face of a top plate 2. A connector including a joint that can be inserted into an end of the lower frame, and a tabular wedge piece 14 is provided. The wedge piece 14 forms tapered faces 13a and 13b on its top face or its bottom face or its top and bottom faces. A tapered face is formed on a side peripheral surface of the wedge piece 14. An expansion connector 12 with which engage holes 13 into which a pair of wedge pieces 14 can be inserted is formed is attached to an upper end of a leg 5. Tapered faces that can be engaged with the tapered faces of the wedge pieces 14 are formed on a top face, a bottom face or top and bottom faces within the engage holes 13. The wedge pieces 14 are inserted in an engageable manner into the tapered faces 13a and 13b of the engage holes 13. The tapered faces of the pair of wedge pieces 14 are provided in such a manner that a bolt 18 can be inserted into a joint part. A shank of the bolt 18 is threaded into a screw hole 19 that is formed in a deep portion of the engage hole. The pair of wedge pieces 14 is attached into the engage hole 13 in a pressure-weldable manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
