Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance waterproof functionality. SOLUTION: A terminal 12 in a condition where a terminal covering part 19 is molded, is fitted to a battery post P, and a jig (not shown) is inserted from an operational opening 23, and a nut N is fastened. Then, the terminal 12 is fixed to the battery post P, and a seal part 25 is brought into close contact with an outside surface of a battery B, and a clearance between both is sealed. Afterwards, when the operational opening 23 is fitted to a cap 20, the inside of the terminal covering part 19 is turned into a waterproof condition. In a part between the terminal covering part 19 and a resin covering 15, a press- fitting part of an electric conductor 11 and the terminal 12 is waterproofed by a tube (an electrical conductor covering part). That is, flooding to the inside of a cover 13 is surely prevented.
