Abstract:
To provide a connection type universal mat which can be folded in half, float on the water, be connected to another mat without limit to form a shape, and be used for disaster prevention, leisure, lifesaving and many other purposes.SOLUTION: A mat cover(2) is partitioned at its center; a grip(3), a band with an insertion buckle (4) and a mat plate fixation band (5) are provided on vertical and lateral side faces of the cover; a mat connection string (6) and a mat plate fixation band receptor (7) are provided on the rear face of the cover; and two mat plates (1) made from buoyancy materials are stored in the left and right sides within the cover and fixed there. The mat can be folded in half and can be easily carried or stacked. Mats can be connected together by the bands with the insertion buckle and the mat connection strings to form a wide variety of shapes and can be used for many purposes. The mat, which can float on the water, is useful for lifesaving in cases of tsunami, floods and other sea-related disasters. The mat plates can be freely removed and inserted so that they can be easily repaired and exchanged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
