To provide a connector for an antenna capable of attaching and detaching a coaxial plug to which the antenna is connected, to and from a coaxial receptacle with excellent operability.

A plug 1 comprises a pin contact 11 to be connected to an inner conductor 10A; a cylindrical shell 12 to be connected to an outer conductor 10C; and a first plug housing 13 to be engaged with the shell 12. A receptacle 2 comprises a first receptacle housing 21 having an inserting hole 2A in which the pin contact 11 is inserted, and a ring like groove 2B in which the shell 12 is inserted; an elastic contact 23A contacting with the pin contact 11; and a first ground shell 24 contacting with the shell 12. The plug 1 with the antenna is connected to the receptacle 2 by the engagement of a first cylindrical protrusion 13A provided with the plug 1 with a first cylindrical recession 21A formed in the receptacle 2.
