Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a connector assembly for cards to surely prevent cards of different sizes and shapes from falling off.
SOLUTION: The connector assembly for cards is provided with a connector 1, and a case 52 housing the connector 1. A plate 76 driven by a slider 54 in left and right direction, cam protrusions 72, 74 cam-engaged with the plate 76 and a plate 78 arranged on the plate 76. When the slider 54 is moved toward right, the plate 76 elevates cam-engaged with the cam protrusion 74 to push up the plate 78. The plate 78 has an elastic rubber piece 88 attached, which prevents a card 10 from falling off by friction contact with an underside main face of the card 10.
