PURPOSE: To provide a connector between an engine and an operation pipe for a bush cutter in which a couple of fixing implements to be fitted to the inside of a supporter are modified so that they may be readily fitted.
CONSTITUTION: A couple of split sleeves 31, 32 to constitute a damping sleeve are inserted into a tubular support 30 of an engine-covering member which rotatably supports the output shaft of an engine, and simultaneously arc pieces 33, 34 to constitute a fixing implement are inserted thereinto to form a connector wherein the individual split sleeves 31, 32 have projections 31a, 32a toward the outer periphery and the projections are connected to the holes 30a, 30b opened on the upper and lower peripheral walls of the tubular support 30. Further, the individual arc pieces 33, 34 are opposingly separated with a prescribed space in relation to a cylinder along the inner face of the damping sleeve, and a spacer 36 which fixes the left and right couple of spacer pieces to a circular ring overhungly in a Y shape is inserted into the space.
